Happy Mother’s Day to all of you childless mothers. You know who you are. The women who don’t ha e any biological children, but step in when another woman couldn’t or wouldn’t raise her own children.
Happy Mother’s Day to the aunts who don’t have children of their own. The ladies who take the phone calls, the text messages and love another’s children as their own.
Let’s face it, we haven’t changed as many diapers or wipe as many noses. We can’t take the place of mothers, but we lend them a hand. We’ve held the hands of children we adore and they are forever in our hearts. We may be childless, but our maternal instinct is strong.
We’re nit receiving cards or flowers today. In fact, many of us might be forgotten. So, I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Mother’s Day.
