Good cop stories, because we need them right now.  Not all cops are bad.  We need to keep that in mind.

Commuting with Julie – Race in America

Sad to say, but racism still exists in American.  It would be great if it didn’t, but it does.  We need to work to eliminate it.  Also, if you don’t think it’s a big deal – you might be part of the problem.

Less Government…

A song by Ken Lonnquist, which explains what’s happening in Madison, WI. Anytime someone is arrested for protesting or even just watching protestors; all our freedoms are threatened.

You can carry a gun into the Wisconsin state capital, but you’ll probably be arrested if you carry a guitar.

Have you been paying attention to the Occupy Wall Street protests?  How can we stand by and allow our fellow citizens who are protesting – as is their First Amendment Right to Assembly – be arrested, pepper sprayed and abused?

What happened to Freedom of Speech?  What happened to the right of Assembly?

I guess we can go to war to force democracy on other countries, but we can’t allow it to work here.

The Fearless Mrs. Goodwin (Kindle Single)

I just finished The Fearless Mrs. Goodwin (Kindle Single) by Mitchell, Elizabeth on Kindle for Android! http://www.amazon.com/kindleforandroid/

This was an interesting read, not so much for the plot, but for the history lesson. Anytime a woman today thinks life is hard, she only has to look back upon history to find how hard it could be.

Briefly, the true story tells how Police Matron Isabella Goodwin solved a $25,000 robbery. The single fleshes out Goodwin’s life to the point that you feel like you know her.

I give this single 4.5 out of 5.
